Search a company or organization to see what it spends lobbying Congress, what its employee political action committee raises and who that PAC gives to, and how much it receives in federal contracts and grants.
Examples:
Lobbying: Lobbying Disclosure Act filings (lda.gov). Amounts are the sum of quarterly reports, using expenses for in-house lobbying and income for money paid to outside lobbying firms. Names are matched loosely, so a search can include subsidiaries and similarly named clients.
PACs: FEC committee records. A PAC is funded by employees and shareholders, not corporate treasury money. The company itself cannot give directly to federal candidates.
Contracts and grants: USAspending.gov recipient totals. Large companies appear under several legal entities, listed separately below.
These are public records, shown as context. A filing is not proof of influence or wrongdoing.
